Web Programmer – Library Services

Responsibilities include redesigning and implementing a website with the Drupal Content Management system. This project included the use of the Content Construction Kit, Views, and Panels modules to build a rich and dynamic website which includes electronic resources, news and announcements, news, and events.
Other responsibilities include deploying a beta release of the VUFind information discovery portal for library catalogs. This included extending interface drivers using PHP and Oracle SQL to customize search results.
Other duties associated with Drupal and VUFind development includes custom interface design using CSS and Javascript frameworks such as YUI and jQuery.

Integration of web based applications with enterprise data services such as Sungard SCT Banner family of products.
